dolls and doll clothes

This is a 16" Pookidoll made by a wonderful lady in Australia....handmade doll, stuffed with wool...I didn't know that wool was such an attraction to kitty cats....you can see two repairs on dolly's face from where she was cat-attacked.

Anyways, I made this dress last week ....it is made from two vintage handkerchiefs, one has tatted lace....some scraps of lace inset in the bodice...and mismatched old white buttons.  Turned out pretty cute huh?  She's wearing bloomers underneath that dress.  It's available in my etsy store :) :)

The kids said I should "blog"

My adult children have informed me that I should "blog."  I don't think I'm funny.   I like to sew doll clothes....American Girl doll clothes.....although Waldorf dolls caught my eye early last year and boy, oh boy, are the beautiful!!!
